Ukulele Chord Designer

Description
Use this app to create labeled ukulele chords which you can cut and paste into song sheets as needed. The four sliders are used to position the dots on the strings. The strings are labeled GCEA by default, but this can be used to create chords in any tuning - high G, Low G, ADF#B, baritone, or really any four string tuning. Use the "barre" slider to create a bar going across all the strings. Note that the names of the chords must be entered manually - this program does not "know" how the fretboard dots relate to the chords - you need to position the dots and name the chord yourself. Type a upper-case letter (ABCDEF or G) for the root note, along with sharp or flat as needed, which are accessed through checkboxes. Then select the chord symbol (dim/aug/m/maj) also using the checkboxes. To unselect a checkbox, just click it again. Then choose the chord number as needed, also using checkboxes. The chord diagram shown on the left can now be copied to the clipboard and pasted into your song sheet, and resized as needed. On my Mac I used "shift-control-command-4" to bring up the screen capture crosshairs. On a PC use windows-shift-s to bring up the snipping tool. On this version of the chord maker, chords with up to the first seven frets are possible, the higher frets are only shown when needed.
