Ukulele Chord Exporter 5 fret Version Description Update 6/2/2025 When naming the chord you now use sliders instead of checkboxes for the numbers and chord quality. Now chords such as F9#11 can be shown. The filename of the exported chord is now the name of the chord with the proper extension (jpg or png) added. Use this app to create labeled ukulele chords that you can export and paste into song sheets as needed. The four "position dot" sliders are used to position the dots on the strings. The strings are labeled GCEA by default, but this can be used to create chords in any tuning - high G, Low G, ADF#B, baritone, or really any four string tuning. Use the "barre" slider to create a bar going across all the strings. Note that the names of the chords must be entered manually - this program does not "know" how the fretboard dots relate to the chords - you need to position the dots and name the chord yourself. Use the slider to choose the root note, along with sharp or flat as needed, which are accessed through checkboxes. To unselect a checkbox, just click it again. Then select the number to immediately follow the chord (7,11, etc.) using the slider. Then select the chord symbol (dim/aug/m/maj) using the next slider down. Then choose the "ending" chord number as needed, using the final slider. If a string is NOT to be played in the chord, uncheck the checkbox above it to mark an "x" on that string in the diagram. If you want to add numbers on the dots to show which fingers to use, adjust the "finger #" sliders to add numbers to the dots. If your chord starts at a higher fret than those shown, you can use the "set first fret" slider to place a number showing what the first fret should be. Click the "export jpg" or "export png" (exports a transparent png file) button and the file should download to your downloads folder. This image can be pasted into a lyric sheet and resized to fit your needs. |
